Pete Davidson on the Time Donald Trump Faked a Cellular phone Contact at &#039Saturday Evening Live’

On this week’s episode of Open Late, comic Pete Davidson reveals a wildly amusing—and thoroughly believable—story about Donald Trump’s 2015 Saturday Night time Dwell physical appearance.

In the course of his sit-down with host Peter Rosenberg, Davidson describes a strange incident that transpired in the days leading up to then-prospect Trump’s web hosting gig.

“He was, like, bizarre all week. He, like, faked a mobile phone contact through the table read through,” Davidson reported, ahead of re-enacting the alleged phony phone. “He was like, ‘Hello.’ He goes, ‘Fantastic. Ok terrific.’ And then he hung up and he goes, ‘Hey, most people! My book just went No. 1!’ I swear on my lifetime. We were being all, like, ‘Yo, that cellphone didn’t ring.”

Check out a clip from Davidson’s interview below.

The full episode of Open up Late drops 10 p.m. ET tomorrow, and features additional guests Stalley, Ace Hood, and Lil Newborn.
