Countrywide Parks Wage Instagram ‘War’ More than Best Sunsets

Lastly, we have a battle over general public lands that does not experience quite so fraught with apocalyptic undertones. Or overtones, for that matter. Saguaro National Park and Joshua Tree Countrywide Park have been waging a great aged fashioned Intagram wander off more than who has the ideal sunsets.

It commenced on May perhaps 5, when Saguaro posted the photo over, indicating “Ummm, what?! Did you know @saguaronationalpark has the finest sunsets in the world? AND, the saguaro, which is an remarkable cactus, can stay up to 150-200 a long time old!! 🌵🌵 (LN, 📸: @discoverychannel ) #nojoke #seriouslythough #whyhaventyouvisited #datlandscapetho #saguaronationalpark

Joshua Tree was acquiring none of it and threw some shade back, commenting, “Best sunsets in the world?” Lol suuuuure 😏”

Saguaro responded, “We are a little biased but nevertheless accurate. Wanna have a sunlight-established off?”

JT: “A SUNSET OFF? You are ON,” they replied.

And so, the pinks and the purples and the oranges and the deep reds and burnt umbers have been traveling throughout the internet, polychrome salvos in a struggle no a person loses and everyone wins. #parksunsetwars is trending.

PARK SUNSET WARS: As the “sun starts to set” 🤔😕😔 on the #parksunsetwars We just want to first thank @joshuatreenps as well as all of the other parks and the public for a hard fought #parksunsetwars. I would have to agree with many of the folks who commented that this is a war where everyone wins. The National Parks were established to not only protect important natural and cultural resources, but to also be a place where these resources can be adventured in and enjoyed. It’s been truly encouraging to see so many gorgeous visitor photos celebrating these resources. If you enjoyed #parkwars, leave what you want to see in the next park wars in the comments below or in the feed of your favorite national park. Oh and @joshuatreenps until we meet again….. #TheBattleMayBeOverButTheWarRagesOn 🌵(NP,📸:@michael_carroll_images) #saguaronationalpark #nationalparkservice #parksunsetwars #sunset #azparks #saguaro

From our desert challengers in the North and East with their salty wit and dry humor, to our frigid foes across the sea to the West – You have all fought valiantly and honorably. Though all claims to the throne were legitimate (and very well deserved) we will not ask visitors to bend the knee for this round of #parksunsetwars. Thank you to every park and visitor who participated in this battle by sharing their amazing sunset photos. Though shade was thrown, we shine brighter as one NPS community. We look forward to more challenges and “battles” that encourage stewardship and celebrate our park resources. @saguaronationalpark thank you! #HouseJoshuaTree #WinterIsDefinitelyNotComingItsReallyHotOutside . . .
