Luxury luggage label RIMOWA has been collaborating with labels like Fendi and Supreme this year, and now the imprint is celebrating its 120-year anniversary. The famous brand has tapped some of the biggest cultural icons of today for a new campaign video, surrounding the concept of travel. Off-White™ and Louis Vuitton creative Virgil Abloh previously collaborated with the luggage brand, and also stars in the new video alongside Adwoa Aboah, Yoon Ahn and tennis superstar Roger Federer.
The campaign centres around each of the icons’ own take on traveling, and in addition to the campaign video, RIMOWA has also asked each of the stars to explain what travel means to them. From Abloh’s artful interpretation of a mid-flight phone call, to Aboah’s struggle with depression – the icons all share their own stories to celebrate the momentous anniversary. ”For 120 years, RIMOWA has been a leader in quality, innovation and craftsmanship, creating a product that’s loved cross-generationally for its ability to aid in the pursuit of inspiration and discovery through travel.
