Deerhoof Include Tracks From The Shining on New File

Deerhoof have announced a new 7″ vinyl impressed by Stanley Kubrick’s iconic 1980 horror movie The Shining. It’s known as Deerhoof Performs New music of the Shining and it’s out October 26 by means of Renowned Course. Ahead of the release, the band has shared their rendition of “Midnight, the Stars and You,” which is the Al Bowlly music that performs during the film’s ballroom scene. Listen below.

The 7″ cover artwork features a repetitive information that pays homage to The Shining’s legendary “All perform and no Perform tends to make Jack a uninteresting boy” typewriter scene. The vinyl by itself was created to recreate the rug pattern from the film’s Area 237. See it down below.

Previous year, Deerhoof dropped the album Mountain Moves. They also shared a compilation of tunes from just about every member’s aspect assignments to benefit the Younger Heart for Immigrant Children’s Legal rights.
